About The Artist

In a hurried, mass produced, throw away society, the work of Lauren Soini is a distinct and dearly needed anomaly.  Each piece is designed, hand fabricated and finished by the artist bringing ancient technique to her work today.  Lauren always strives for the highest quality in her hand crafted pieces while her designs bring age-old artistry into an organic and current aesthetic.

Lauren grew up in a small town in Central Washington.  Her mother is a potter and watercolor artist, thus painting, print making, sculpting and many other arts were a part of everyday life.  She found drawing an essential tool in all aspects of the creative process and it gave her the skill and freedom to express and interpret reality and imagination.

Lauren Attended Seattle Pacific University where she earned a BA in Studio Arts with a emphasis in metal smithing.  Her hope is to continue to produce work that is surprising, ethereal and alluring.
